This talk is concerned with some of our recent results on the construction of global solutions to the Cauchy problem of the Vlasov-Maxwell-Boltzmann system for the whole range of cutoff soft potentials. It is based on our recent work joint with Renjun Duan, Yuanjie Lei, and Tong Yang.
